A Mother of Five in Desperate need of Help
Australia
From a Cold Tent… to Your Warm Hearts
A Cry from Eman – A Mother of Five, Calling Out for Mercy and Humanity
My name is Eman… I’m a mother of five children — each of them carries a hunger that breaks my heart, and a cold that makes me shiver… not from the weather, but from helplessness.
We used to live a simple, humble life — but it was filled with dignity. We had a small home that held us together, a door that kept our children safe from fear, and a roof under which we felt hope…
But today? I’m writing to you from a tent — not a home. A tent made of fabric, that shields us from neither sun, nor rain, nor fear. A tent where we live with no electricity, no clean water, no warmth… And the hardest part? We live with no sense of safety.
I’m not asking for much… But my children are hungry. They are cold. And they’re growing up with questions in their eyes that I can’t answer:
Where is our home? Why don’t we have food? Why don’t we have clean water? Why am I wearing summer clothes in the middle of winter?
I can’t afford enough food… I can’t afford clean drinking water for my children… I can’t afford warm clothes to protect them from the cold… And the hardest truth? I can’t bear to see them like this and do nothing.
I’m a mother… but I can’t do this alone. All I want is to feed them, to warm them, to bring back the life we had — a life with dignity, a life every family deserves.
Please… any help — big or small — could be our salvation. It could be hope. It could be life. It could be the answer to the silent prayers I whisper every night.
Help us live with dignity. Help us reclaim our humanity.
